2008 to present: Quality manager for AHD Test Labs in Dowagiac Michigan. Manage FCC / IC / NVLAP certification credentials. Provide FCC / IC / EC reports fro product certification.
1994 to 2008: Employed with National Semiconductor Corp Atlanta Design Center. As Validation Manager, responsibilities included research and design validation planning and execution for Ethernet network Integrated Circuit products. In addition to validation planning and execution, daily activities include market research, new product feature specification, development, and prototyping; and specification and development of validation and demonstration PCB / system platforms. Also managed lab personnel and activities.
Product development and deployment experience includes several 10/100/1000 mac, physical layer, and integrated macphy products. Also responsible for the specification, development, and deployment of several “in house” automated product validation systems. Most recent product deployment: IEEE 1588 Precision Time Protocol enabled Ethernet 10/100 Physical Layer component.
1990 – 1994: Employed with Zenith Data Systems, St. Joseph, Michigan, as PC product designer and project leader. Project lead for 486 based PCI bus PC system. Responsibilities included specification, design, development, and deployment through manufacturing. On previous products, developed network, video, and multi-processor subsystems on PC mother boards. Network design included Ethernet and Token Ring based adaptors.
